SPOOKY FUN AT HAZARD CENTER’S MALL-O-WEEN MONSTER MASH! Costume Contest, Prizes, Carnival Games and Creepy Crafts at First Annual FREE Event…
The weekend before Halloween, Hazard Center will host the First Annual Mall-O-Ween Monster Mash – an exciting, spooktacular event brimming with family fun. The inaugural Mall-O-Ween Monster Mash will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Hazard Center, located at 7610 Hazard Center Drive, San Diego, CA 92108.
This kid-friendly jamboree will offer fun and frights for all ages and feature a costume contest for attendees, carnival games, arts and crafts, music, refreshments and more.
Pint-size superheroes, classic movie monsters and Disney princesses who wish to partake in the costume contest can dress up as a duo, or simply enter as a spooky single. The Contest is FREE to enter, and all entrants will receive a goodie bag (while supplies last). Prizes will be awarded for three costume categories: Best Child Costume, Best Parent/Kid Duo and Most Creative.
As Hazard Center goes ghoulish, attendees can delight in electrifying carnival games such as Jack-O-Lantern Ball Toss and Monster Blast Darts. Star 94.1 will be spinning creepy classics like Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” and Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition.”
“We are thrilled to bring this new, family-friendly Halloween event to Hazard Center,” said Lisa Gualco, Hazard Center’s general manager. “Not only is Mall-O-Ween Monster Mash a way for families to celebrate the holiday in a safe environment, but it is also a fun opportunity for San Diegans to come together and get into the Halloween spirit.”
Mall-O-Ween Monster Mash will take place on the Plaza Level of Hazard Center, next to the Pappy Hazard Statue.
